Roger Drobney, President

Roger has been President of HDI since its inception in 1967. His goal has been to become one of the best custom home builders in the building business, and that goal has been realized. His exceptional design skills and attention to detail are seen in beautiful homes featuring dramatic living areas, open floor plans, cathedral ceilings accentuated by large displays of custom glass, and totally functional gourmet kitchens. Roger works with each client individually to develop their dream home.  Roger's design services are included at no cost for each home built by HDI.

Doug Showers, Vice President

Doug has been Vice President of HDI for over 33 years, and during that time has been involved in coordinating office functions, customer communications, closings, cost estimating, and field supervision.  Doug and Roger first met while employed with IBM Corporation where they gained their technical and management skills. Doug works closely with each customer during the finishing phase, and assists with the fine details of homebuilding, including the selection of trim options, flooring, cabinetry, and other specialty finish requirements.

Chris Drobney, Vice President

Chris inherited his father's knack for building and learned construction from the ground up.  Since earning an architectural degree of his own, Chris oversees construction of each HDI home from design through rough framing and drywall.  Using a cutting edge CAD system, he translates Roger's creative designs into the structural detail necessary to build each home to HDI's trademark high standards and attention to detail.  Chris's daily responsibilities also include assisting customers with selections such as  color and finish, brick and stone, roofing, plumbing fixtures, and drywall details.

Brian Bauknecht, Sales Manager

Brian is responsible for marketing and selling our homes.  He oversees our models and advertising and is HDI's public relations interface.  Brian works with each customer to help identify the proper home design. He assists in lot or land selection, and helps the customer obtain financing.  Through his real estate network he helps the customer with related real estate needs.

Karinne Boyd, Office Manager

Karinne is responsible for all accounting functions, real estate closings, bank draw requests, and interfaces with customers during the closing and construction process.  She assists customers with understanding the pre-closing requirements, assists them with appliance selections, and helps direct them to our suppliers and venders should the need arise.

Dana Conner , Construction

Dana has been with HDI for over 15 Years.  His duties include taking care of all miscellaneous construction details that fall outside the scope of our subcontractors.  In addition, Dana interfaces with customers after occupancy to make adjustments and repairs during the important move in and warranty period. 

HDI Contractor Partners

One of the most important elements of the HDI team is its group of subcontractors.  We are proud of the different trades that help build our homes to the highest quality standards. Some of our subcontractors have been with us since the inception of our company.  The average tenure of all subcontractors is in excess of 15 years.  Quality teamwork is achieved because of this tenure and the working relationships developed between the various trades.
